Bárbara López Longarela received her Degree in Biotechnology from the University of Oviedo (Asturias, Spain) in 2013, with a project aimed to detect viral strains using bioinformatics and multiplex PCR techniques. In 2014, she finished her Master in Molecular Biology Applied to Biotechnological Companies (BioEnterprise) at the University of Granada (Spain). She joined DESTINA in May 2014 initially as a Master Student and subsequently as member of the DESTINA team.
