The Company
DESTINA Genomics Ltd is a biotechnology company established in Edinburgh in 2011 as a spin-off from the School of Chemistry, University of Edinburgh. In July 2012, DESTINA Genomica S.L. was established as a wholly owned subsidiary.
DESTINA was founded with a mission to transform the field of nucleic acid testing and diagnostic assay solutions. We aim to achieve this by commercialising a platform-agnostic, patented chemistry that enables the detection of nucleic acids and their mimetics with unprecedented precision.
We believe in the transformative potential of RNA biomarkers in research, drug development and clinical diagnostics. Our technology offers a unique, highly differentiated approach that addresses important RNA stability issues, streamlines laboratory workflows and facilitates the use of circulating RNA as an essential biomarker.

Assurance
At Destina Genomics, S.L., quality is a way of working. We have initiated the development of a Quality Management System based on the ISO 9001 standard, with the purpose of achieving certification by the end of 2026.
In the medium term, we plan to move towards the implementation of the ISO 13485 standard, further reinforcing our commitment to international safety and reliability standards.
