Francisco Javier López Delgado holds a Degree in Chemistry and a Master’s Degree in Biotechnology from the University of Granada, where he also earned his PhD in Chemistry through the Excellence Projects of the Andalusian Regional Government in 2015. Following his doctoral work, he joined the NANOCHEMBIO group as postdoctoral research staff, participating in several research initiatives in collaboration with DESTINA. In 2017, he received a postdoctoral fellowship from the Andalusian Regional Government linked to Excellence Projects, and in 2018 he was awarded the prestigious Torres Quevedo grant to lead industrial research in synthesis of new PNA monomers and SMARTs bases at DESTINA, where he currently serves as a Chemistry Scientist. He is responsible for the design, synthesis, and characterization of new, innovative reagents, as well as for the production of DESTINA® reagents, contributing to the advancement of DESTINA’s technology.
